1. Overview
This website runs without advertising networks and without cookies that would require consent. For audience measurement we use self-hosted, cookieless statistics software on our own servers (details in section 7); no data flows to third parties. Beyond that, personal data is only processed when you actively share it with us — via the contact form or the newsletter signup — and in technically necessary server logs. All pages are delivered TLS-encrypted (HTTPS).

3. Hosting and Server Logs
This website is operated on our own or specifically contracted servers in the EU. No third-party hosting services with independent tracking or profiling are used. Where infrastructure of external datacenter providers is used for operations, this is done on the basis of data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
The web server keeps no permanent access logs of your visits. To fend off automated attacks, your IP address is checked against a locally held GeoIP database when the page is requested; nothing is stored and nothing is transmitted to third parties in the process. Where technical system and error logs contain IP addresses in individual cases, they are used solely for operational security and troubleshooting and are deleted after at most 14 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure website operation).
4. Cookies and Device Access
This website sets no cookies for analytics, tracking or advertising purposes and does not access information on your device within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG (German Telecom Digital Services Data Protection Act) beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the website. The audience measurement described in section 7 also works without cookies and stores no identifiers in your browser. A consent banner is therefore not required.
5. Contact Form and Email Contact
When you use the contact form or write to us by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message) solely to handle your enquiry. Form submissions are transmitted by email (SMTP) to the controller; no data is stored in a database or passed on to third parties. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply (for example if an engagement follows). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
6. Newsletter
The newsletter is sent via a self-hosted Listmonk instance on servers in the EU; no external mailing service is used. When you subscribe, your email address is stored solely for sending the newsletter. Subscription uses a double opt-in procedure: after entering your email address you receive a confirmation email and must actively confirm your subscription. Without this confirmation, no newsletter is sent. To document your consent, the time of signup and confirmation is logged.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by sending an informal email to info@anders-it-solutions.de. Upon withdrawal your email address is deleted promptly. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent); logging the consent is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with the duty of demonstration under Art. 7(1) GDPR.
7. Audience Measurement, Analytics and Fonts
To analyse how this website is used, we run the open-source programs Matomo and OpenPanel — both self-hosted on our own servers in the EU, with no third-party provider involved; they run in parallel for a limited time until we settle on one of the two tools. The measurement libraries and all measurement requests are served and received by this website itself; no data is transmitted to third parties when the page loads.
Measurement is cookieless: no cookies are set and no persistent identifiers are stored in your browser. We process the pages you visit, the referring page, browser and device type, and your approximate location at country or region level. Your IP address is never stored in full: it is used transiently for geolocation, to fend off automated access, and to derive a short-lived pseudonymous identifier using a regularly rotating random value; where it is retained at all, this happens exclusively in truncated (anonymised) form. There is no recognition across longer periods or across other websites (no cross-site tracking). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in audience measurement and improving our services); you may object to this processing at any time under Art. 21 GDPR.
All fonts are self-hosted; no connections are made to Google Fonts or any other external CDN.
8. No Third-Country Transfers, No Automated Decision-Making
Personal data is not transferred to countries outside the EU or the EEA. Automated decision-making including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) does not take place. Providing your data is neither legally nor contractually required; without it we simply cannot answer your enquiry or send you the newsletter.
9. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about the personal data stored about you at any time.
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request deletion of your data, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): Under certain conditions you may request restriction of the processing of your data.
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You may request that your data be provided in a machine-readable format.
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

10. Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right under Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The supervisory authority competent for the controller is:
